The Village Maker is about creating a buzzing local crafty community, supporting local, and being part of a collective with the same motivations.
We hope the classes can bring some valuable time out, and practical pleasure for those who attend. Make something you need, something you want, either way, MAKE IT and be proud to be Handmade. Something to last the seasons and then beyond. Maybe recycle a treasure found, add some vintage bling, make memories out of what you already have in the cupboard. We can help you learn some new tricks, and provide some tools to make it happen.
BE SEWCIAL. Come to the centre of our village and share with other MAKERS. There is no problem that can't be solved, experience that can't be shared in the interest of making. We hope, be it needlepoint, crochet, knitting, whatever, that the opportunity to make new friends over a cuppa and some needle therapy will be just what the doctor ordered.
As we build the Haberdashery, our goal is to bring you new and interesting product to get the creativity flowing. We will endeavour to source a varied range and try to look for interesting new finds. Where possible we will give you the opportunity to access more environmentally conscious products, produced sustainably and ethically.
